What are the steps in the design process?
| Presale Home (Construction has NOT begun) | The first step is the Plans and Specs Meeting with the builder |
| Afterwards, you’ll be contacted by the Design Team with instructions on how to access the options for your home to begin review. | |
| Presale Home (Construction has already begun) | The Design Team to reach out within a few days of finalizing your sales agreement to give you access to the Design Studio. This will allow you to select the options available to you, to customize or upgrade. |
| There is a walk through tutorial for the online portal when you first log in. Please do take the time to familiarize yourself. | |
| Once you have finished reviewing all of the included and upgraded options and tentatively saved each of your selections to your wish list, the Design Team will contact you to schedule a Design Meeting to review. At this meeting, you’ll finalize all of your selections together. | |
| SPEC House | No Design appointment will be scheduled as your home is being sold As Is, unless otherwise specified in your final contract. |
Design meetings can be held at our Evans office or via Zoom.
Any items selected that are not standard will be priced on a change order for you. Pricing for most items will be available at the end of your meeting. Please do be prepared to make payment at the end of your meeting.
Adding to Your Wish List in the Design Studio
You will receive an email from the Bill Beazley Online Design Studio. (email image below)
The email contains the following:
· A welcome message with instructions
· The Bill Beazley Online Design Studio URL.
· There is a built in tutorial once you click the link.

How do homebuyers make selections online?
You will visit and explore each tab in your portal (image example below). You will add your favorite selections for each included item and any upgrades you are interested in to your wish list.
Most upgrades will be priced in the portal for information purposes. 60% deposit will be required to finalize any upgrades with the 40% balance due at closing.
Items on your wish list will be reviewed with you during your Design Appointment to make sure that you are pleased with the way each of your selections work together. Please SAVE your wish list at the end of your session.

What do I do if I want to make changes?
Any changes you would like to make must be submitted in writing and finalized on a Change Order. This document helps to track information and reduce misunderstandings. Turnaround time for a change order between the request and time for payment can be between one and ten business days.
What is a Change Order?
A change order is initiated by the homebuyer or the homebuyer’s agent through a written list of the changes, sent to the Design Team. We find email to be the easiest way for most to submit. You can email [email protected].
That document is then sent to the builder for their notes and then to the Estimating Department for pricing. Our Estimating Department creates your formal Change Order, listing your requested options and their prices.
The Change Order will have a deadline for receipt of payment. A 60% deposit will be due for all Change Orders, with the remaining 40% balance due at closing.
The signed Change Order should be turned in to the office with your payment for your accepted items. Draw a line through any options listed that you do not wish to have completed.
If you prefer to mail in your Change Order, please send it to:
